Wonder Hunter

The 14th of June 2022 brought us the second supermoon of that year — an event which happens when the moon’s orbit is closest to Earth, presenting us with a super-sized brighter full moon. A supermoon is any full moon that is at a distance of at least 90% of perigee, which is the point at which the moon is closest to the earth.

The supermoon of June 2022 was also a so-called Strawberry supermoon, though my camera caught one that was more cheeselike in colour. The other things I wanted to mention is that I often take pictures of full moons with just my Canon Powershot SX30 which has non-detachable zoom lens. I got this camera long before I became a photographer — but just look what it can do! And hand-held!
